An interesting travelogue, history and critique of some bits of the USA that are unknown to most Americans. A tour of USA overseas outposts, their histories and discontents. Clearly they shouldn't all become states, but their territorial status in some cases is nonsensical to say the least. Interesting look at the territories An interesting look at America's territories and some good explanations as to their citizens' relationships to the US. Very little history, very little about the local culture, there's just no there there. It is as if a C-student undergrad flew to each of the territories, chatted with a few people in bars at each, and threw it together based on what the locals were yacking about that day.
